Mondelez International has released its 2023 "State of Snacking" report, which surveyed 3,683 adult consumers across the world.

76% of snackers say they are loyal to a certain brand or brands, and 74% recycle their snack packaging for later.

While snackers are brand-loyal, they're also adventurous: 59% like to try something new. When looking for something novel to munch on, 62% of snackers turn to social media.

"We're witnessing an exciting phase where global consumers continue to prioritize snacking, but with a more mindful and adventurous approach," CEO Dirk Van de Put said. (Mondelez International)
