Let's bring Devarjaye Daniel to the North Country!

About Devarjaye "D.J." Daniel

D. J. is a 12-year-old from Houston, Texas, who has been diagnosed with a rare form of brain and spinal cancer, for which there is no cure.  

As of right now, D. J. is the member of 844 law enforcement agencies, far surpassing his initial goal of 100!  But why stop there?  None of these agencies are in the North Country and Champlain Valley... YET!

Let's rally together for D. J.!

After finding the story about D. J., we made some calls and sent some emails.  Local law enforcement agencies, such as the Saranac Lake Police Department, have mentioned that they would be more than happy to swear D. J. in!  We then reached out to D. J.'s father, Theodis Daniel, to get the ball rolling.  

 

Every Little Bit Helps!

There are costs associated with travel, and D. J. won't be traveling alone.  His two younger brothers (who have also been sworn in to 16 different agencies, too), and his father, travel together.  They'll be making their way here from Houston, Texas.  Every cent raised in conjunction with the GoFundMe below will go directly to D. J.'s family, so that they can make their journey here!
