  The New York State Tractor Pulling Association visited the Clinton County Fair. The Clinton County Mariners 14U picked up a mid-week win. Argentina will meet Spain in Sunday's FIFA World Cup final.

• Criss On Sports - July 15, 2026

  Monday night saw a tripleheader of North Country Soccer League action. Spain beat France 2-0 to advance to the World Cup Final. The Spanish await the winner of tonight's match between Argentina and England.

• Criss On Sports - July 14, 2026

  A Pennsylvania team won the 64th annual Au Sable Forks Fast-Pitch (softball) Tournament. The FIFA Men's World Cup semifinals begin today. The St. Louis Cardinals' Jordan Walker won the MLB Home Run Derby last night.

About Steve Criss

Steve grew up right here in the North Country, graduating from Beekmantown High School ('84).  Steve has always had a dream of being on the radio and has broadcast live local sports for over half a decade!  Now, Steve doesn't have to stay in his own lane, and he's bringing Criss on Sports to NBZ-FM!

Steve, and his wife Nina, reside in Beekmantown with their three dogs, and are proud parents of two sons and two daughters.  Hunter, Ryan, Gretchen and Rachel are in their early twenties, and are enjoying strong starts in their respective careers!
