On Saturday, August 23rd at 11:00am, the Babbie Rural & Farm Learning Museum, 250 River Road, Peru, NY is hosting a Cooperative Extension Talk: Creating a Native Plant Garden. Cornell Cooperative Extension Master Gardener Volunteers will teach everything you need to know to get started with a native plant garden. Learn what a native plant is; easy native plants to grow; how to create a pollinator garden; the differences of spreading habits; understanding bloom timing; container gardening with native plants; now and why to plant in drifts; where to get native plants.
