Clinton County Driver Gets Maximum Sentence in Fatal Crash

51 year old Linda Gremich-Blake of Clinton County was sentenced Thursday to two and one-third to seven years in state prison for a fatal crash on Porter Road in May 2025. Prosecutors say she was impaired by cocaine and another drug when her vehicle crossed into the oncoming lane and struck a person standing near the shoulder. She fled, and two people walking nearby later found the victim dead. Gremich-Blake pleaded guilty in June to vehicular manslaughter and related charges. The judge imposed the maximum sentence allowed by law.

Champlain Man Arrested on Probation Violation Warrant

Clinton County sheriff’s deputies arrested 45 year old Nicholas Molinski of Champlain Thursday on a felony probation violation warrant. The warrant alleges he violated the terms of his probation following a March 2025 conviction for criminal possession of a controlled substance. Molinski was arraigned in Clinton County Court and sent to the county jail.
North Country Community College Pool Reopens Friday
