Fire Study Recommends More Staffing for Plattsburgh Fire Department

A new study recommends increasing staffing and eventually building a new fire station for the Plattsburgh Fire Department. The report found current staffing levels are stretched thin and identified aging facilities, equipment needs, and operational challenges. Consultants recommend adding firefighters and EMTs over time and developing a long-term plan to modernize the department’s infrastructure.
