ICE Detains 21 In Lake Placid Area Operations

Federal immigration agents detained 21 people in separate operations in the Lake Placid and Saranac Lake areas last week. According to Immigration and Customs Enforcement, 14 individuals were taken into custody during a May 28 operation in a Lake Placid parking lot, while additional arrests were made in a separate action involving local workers.
