Assemblyman Matt Simpson and state Senator Jim Tedisco are backing legislation known as Joycelynn’s Law. The bill is named for 3 year old Joycelynn Dylewski of Corinth, who died last year from prolonged neglect. It would raise criminally negligent homicide involving a child from a Class E felony to a Class A-1 felony, with a maximum sentence of 25 years to life.
