Volunteers from across upstate New York will gather at ARC Park in Herkimer September 26 for the annual Out of the Darkness Community Walk. Check-in begins at 10 a.m., with the walk starting at 11. The event will raise money for suicide prevention education and research while supporting people affected by suicide loss. Participants may register, donate or volunteer through the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention website at A-F-S-P dot org slash walk.
