Bluff Point Campus Redevelopment Receives One Million Dollars

Clinton County has received one million dollars in state funding to begin redeveloping the former Clinton Community College campus. The money will support water, sewer, stormwater and roadway improvements. The work is expected to prepare the property for a proposed 96-unit workforce housing development and additional private investment.
SUNY Canton Begins New Academic Year

SUNY Canton begins Welcome Week today as new students move into residence halls. Returning students arrive Wednesday, with fall classes starting Thursday. Students will find a newly completed plaza featuring green space, heated walkways and an outdoor amphitheater. The college is also offering free education to eligible adults through the SUNY Reconnect program.
Rhode Island Fugitive Arrested in Plattsburgh

21 year old Isaac Rosario of Cranston, Rhode Island, was arrested Friday morning at a Plattsburgh residence. Authorities say Rosario is wanted in Rhode Island on weapons, assault, credit card fraud and reckless driving charges. He was jailed at the Clinton County Correctional Facility while extradition proceedings move forward.
