Disney's Zootopia 2 secured the top North American box office position for its third weekend following its achievement of surpassing $1 billion worldwide. The animated sequel becomes only the second Hollywood film this year to reach the billion-dollar threshold, joining the live-action Lilo & Stitch. Five Nights at Freddy's 2 dropped to second position, earning $19.5 million and experiencing a steep 70% decline from its opening weekend's $64 million performance. Wicked: For Good held third place during its fourth weekend with $8.5 million. The Bollywood entry Dhurandhar claimed fourth position with $3.5 million, while Now You See Me: Now You Don't completed the top five with $2.4 million. Disney's political dramedy Ella McCay struggled significantly in its domestic launch, collecting only $2.1 million for one of the poorest modern opening performances for the studio. (Story URL)
