A Talker Research survey of 2,000 U.S. adults finds 42% won't shop Cyber Monday this year, while 54% plan to avoid Black Friday in-store shopping. The study shows 71% believe these major shopping days aren't what they used to be. Online shopping concerns include stolen payment information at 47%, quality issues at 44%, and scams at 39%. Despite risks, 60% will go to great lengths for perfect holiday gifts, including searching five different online vendors on average.
