Americans Plan Six New Year’s Resolutions For 2026, Focus on Money And Health

A Talker Research survey of 2,000 Americans shows people are setting six resolutions on average for 2026. The top goals include saving more money (45%), increasing exercise (45%), and improving physical health (41%). Only 10% called 2025 a "great" year, while 39% said it was "just okay." Thirty-eight percent plan to set personal goals, with millennials most likely to make resolutions (57%) and baby boomers least likely (23%). Men are more motivated than women to complete goals (93% vs. 85%). Financial constraints pose the biggest barrier for younger generations, while baby boomers cite lack of willpower (37%). Half of respondents believe 2026 will be their breakthrough year. (Story URL)
