New research reveals 50 percent of partnered adults would never consider couples therapy. A survey of 2,000 adults by BetterHelp shows resistance peaks among Baby Boomers at 75 percent. Many view therapy as only for relationships "on the brink" or "in crisis," with 11 percent believing it means admitting incompatibility. Only 10 percent of couples have tried counseling, though Millennials show most openness at 18 percent. Communication problems persist weekly, as 39 percent say "I'm fine" when they're not and 28 percent avoid raising issues to prevent conflict. Despite reservations, 39 percent would consider online counseling for easier access. (Story URL)
