The Harry Potter series leads holiday book gifting preferences this year, followed by the Bible, according to a Talker Research survey of 2,000 American readers. More than half of respondents (51%) plan to give books as holiday presents, with millennials (66%) and Gen Z (52%) most likely to choose literary gifts. Social media influence drives 28% of book gift selections this season. Friends and family recommendations inspire 49% of choices, while bestseller lists guide 36%. Nearly three-quarters (72%) of gift-givers select books they haven't read themselves. Nearly three in four (73%) also said books feel more meaningful than other types of gifts. (Story URL)
