Landscapers rank as the fittest tradespeople according to a survey of 1,000 trade workers examining physical activity, diet, and exercise habits. The study found landscapers walk 12,274 steps daily and exercise 114 minutes weekly outside work hours. Plumbers placed second with 32 points, showing the highest self-perceived fitness at 80 percent. Carpenters finished third with 25 points, averaging 10,995 daily steps and lifting 16 heavy items per day. Bricklayers lift the most heavy items daily at 26 but ranked fifth overall due to lower scores in other categories.
