A recent survey found that more than one in ten adults know more about famous celebrities than their own loved ones. The poll of 2,000 adults revealed that only 29% know who their mother first dated, and even fewer (19%) are aware of their father's early love life. Study authors noted that "many of us assume we know our loved ones better than we actually do." The study also found that 40% are unaware of how they got their name, though 47% know how a celebrity's child got their name. The research further showed that long trips are considered among the best ways to connect with others, due to the lack of distractions and increased quality time (59%). (Story URL)
