Sunday, December 14, 2025 at 7:01 PM

Just 10 percent of Americans described 2025 as a "great" year, while most called it "just okay" (39 percent), "bad" (19 percent), or "awful" (10 percent), according to a Talker Research survey of 2,000 Americans. Despite the disappointing year, 38 percent are setting goals for 2026, averaging six resolutions each. Saving money and getting more exercise tied as top priorities at 45 percent each, followed by improving physical health at 41 percent. Younger generations blame lack of money for failing to meet goals, while baby boomers cite lack of willpower. Americans rated their average mental health at 7 out of 10, with men scoring slightly higher at 8 out of 10. (Story URL)
