A survey of 2,000 American parents with children under 13 found that age 3 and a half is the most challenging for road trips. Reasons cited include children getting bored easily, throwing tantrums, and parents not enjoying road trips at this age. The study, commissioned by good2grow, also highlighted age 6 as the easiest for road trips. Parents set a seven-hour limit for road trips with children, experiencing frequent questions about arrival time, sibling fights, and tantrums. Despite the stress, 93% of parents find road trips fun and memorable. To reduce stress, parents rely on snacks, pre-loaded movies, and toys to keep children entertained during the journey.
