The Temu app seems to be passing on new import tariffs to its customers in the United States, and shoppers are noticing! Packages priced up to $800, which used to be exempt from added levies, now face an additional tax. A power strip that used to cost $19.49 now has an added $27.56 import charge tacked on as of Monday. Biker shorts, table covers, and other common items also cost more than double once the import charge is added. Shein also appears to have raised prices for its US customers. (Bloomberg)
