The ATF is offering a reward for information on a North Country man missing for more than two years.
The New York State Police are seeking assistance from the public in their ongoing search for Stephen J. Houghton who was first reported to be missing a little over two years ago from Route 9 motel in the town of Ausable. The Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives is now involved in this investigation and is offering a reward of $25,000 for information leading to his whereabouts. Houghton is a white male, approximately 6 feet 2 inches tall, weighing about 225 pounds, with black hair and blue eyes. Anyone with information regarding the whereabouts of Stephen Houghton is asked to contact the New York State Police.
