The NY Public Service Commission seeks comments on internet program for low-income subscribers.
The Affordable Broadband Act mandates that internet service providers offer income-eligible households broadband service for $15 a month that has a minimum down load speed of 25 megabits per second. The PSC is now seeking comments on weather the minimum should be increased to federal standards of 100 megabits per second or even faster for low-income subscribers in the program.
