Two local airports will get a small portion of the $66 Million in federal taxpayer dollars going to airports.
The money will be distributed to airports statewide according to U.S. Senator’s Chuck Schumer and Kirsten Gillibrand. They report that Plattsburgh International Airport will get just under $2 million and Adirondack Regional Airport will receive a little less than $711,000. The money will go toward security cameras and gate reconstruction at Plattsburgh and taxiway renovations at Adirondack.
