A second democrat has announced publicly that they want to run for Assembly in the 115th district.
Bridie Farrell formally announced that she’s seeking the Democratic nomination in the anticipated special election for New York’s 115th Assembly District to be vacated by Billy Jones. Farrell said she is “committed to listening and making a meaningful impact by approaching each issue with creativity, empathy, focus, and tenacity”. So far, the only other Democrat who has publicly come forward indicating an interest in the Assembly seat is Plattsburgh Town Supervisor Michael Cashman. On the Republican side its been widely reported that Malone Mayor, Andrea Dumas, is interested in the spot on the Assembly representing the Northeastern corner of New York State.
