APA Hearing

A public hearing on an application for a howitzer test range in the Adk Park has been postponed...again.

According to the APA, Administrative Law Judge David Greenwood issued an Order to adjourn the previously scheduled April 22^nd hearing and reschedule it for June 24^th. This is the third time the hearing has been postponed. The project under review involves a weapons test range for howitzer cannon barrels over a 5-year period at a former missile site in the town of Lewis. The June 24th hearing will be held at the Adirondack Park Agency Headquarters in Ray Brook.
