A public hearing on an application for a howitzer test range in the Adk Park has been postponed...again.
According to the APA, Administrative Law Judge David Greenwood issued an Order to adjourn the previously scheduled April 22nd hearing and reschedule it for June 24th. This is the third time the hearing has been postponed. The project under review involves a weapons test range for howitzer cannon barrels over a 5-year period at a former missile site in the town of Lewis. The June 24th hearing will be held at the Adirondack Park Agency Headquarters in Ray Brook.
