Saying the time has come for him to pursue another opportunity, Assemblyman Billy Jones announced that he would be leaving his seat in the NY State Assembly at the end of August. Jones said he wants to spend more time with his daughter and family. While no details were given on his new opportunity, Jones said he is stepping away from politics because it's become too divisive.
