Battle of Plattsburgh Fireworks

Battle of Plattsburgh commemoration events for the weekend event kick off with a fireworks display.

The Battle of Plattsburgh Commemoration continues today with several items on the agenda.  Tonight, events are scheduled at Trinity Park with the focus on music at the City Hall Stage.  The U.S. Army Band will lead into the fireworks.  Tom Donahue the President of 1814 Commemoration Inc., organizers of the event, said the fireworks display starts around 9:30pm and is paid for by Eagles Nest Veterinary Hospital.  Battle of Plattsburgh activities will continue through the weekend.  A schedule is available on the Battle of Plattsburgh website battleofplattsburgh.com
