There are several blood drives this month in the North Country offered by the Adirondack Blood Center.
Donating at Adirondack Blood Center helps the community. Each unit of donated blood can benefit up to three patients at Champlain Valley Physicians Hospital, Alice Hyde Medical Center in Malone, Elizabethtown Community Hospital and the Adirondack Medical Center in Saranac Lake. The Adirondack Blood Center, located at 85 Plaza Blvd., is open Monday to Friday 8am to 4pm.
