People are encouraged to help clean up a cemetery
The second annual “Caring for Your Cemetery Day” will take place on April 26th. The Department of State wants to generate interest in cemeteries, especially with younger people through this program. Secretary of State, Walter Mosley, said there are several good reasons to get involved. Last year, about two dozen cemeteries were part of the first “Caring for Your Cemetery Day”. This year, over 75 cemeteries will take part. In the North Country, Lake View Cemetery of Willsboro plans to participate.
