An apartment fire led to the rescue of a baby and two adults by City of Plattsburgh firefighters.
A Sunday morning fire at an apartment building on Court St. in the City of Plattsburgh required residents to be rescued according to Chief Scott Lawliss. Firefighters located 3 residents, including an infant, on the third floor. The crew reported deteriorating conditions in the stairway and assisted the residents out a window. 11 residents were displaced and three were treated for smoke inhalation. Chief Lawliss said the cause was deemed electrical and not suspicious.
