Millions of state taxpayer dollars have been poured into a program to foster riding e-bikes and scooters.
Over $21 million is now available to support zero-emission mobility transportation in communities across the state. The Clean Mobility Program provides funding for community-led demonstration projects that improve connections through micro mobility, ridesharing, and on-demand shared transportation options. Eligible technologies include bicycles along with electric bikes and scooters as long as they meet safety standards such as those provided by Underwriters Laboratories.
