A boost to the credit rating of Clinton County has many positive implications say officials.
Clinton County has received a credit rating upgrade by Moody’s Investors Service. Legislative Chairperson Mark Henry said this is very good news. County Administrator Michael Zurlo echoed Mark Henry’s point that the rating is the result of years of disciplined budgeting and responsible debt management. Zurlo said “we’ve worked hard to maintain healthy reserves, control expenses, and make smart financial decisions.”
