The state is cutting rad tape and barriers that slow the connection of electric vehicle chargers to the grid.
The Public Service Commission approved a new system that both speeds up and simplifies the process of connecting EV Chargers to the grid. It also cuts wait times for developers and utilities. In addition, the Commission directed staff to develop a statewide framework for the interconnection of electric vehicles. This action is expected to aid in reaching the state’s very aggressive electrification goals.
