Troopers were called to a North Country correctional facility to investigate an unauthorized entry attempt
A 19-year-old woman from Western NY tried to enter Upstate Correctional Facility with a fake ID according to State Police. Saturday morning around 8:30 troopers responded to a report of an unauthorized visitor at Upstate in Malone. An investigation determined that the woman provided a false name and an ID that did not belong to her. Omariana A. Curry was charged with possession of a forged instrument in the second degree, two counts of criminal impersonation in the second degree, and criminal trespass in the third degree according to the state police report. After arraignment in the Town of Malone Court Troopers say she was released on her own recognizance.
