The next free fishing day in NY State is this Saturday. This Free Fishing Day coincides with National Hunting and Fishing Day, which was designated by Congress in 1972. State residents and non-residents may fish without a license, however, participants are reminded that all other fishing regulations remain in effect. The next and final free fishing day of the year will be Veterans Day, November 11th.
