Frigid Temperatures

Dangerously cold temperatures are expected over the weekend and an advisory has been issued by NYSP.

Bitterly cold temperatures are on the way this weekend. Daytime temperatures on Saturday and Sunday are forecast to remain in single digits while temperatures are expected to dip below zero with Friday night and Saturday. New York State Police have issued an advisory for Clinton, Essex and Franklin counties regarding the extreme cold. They report dangerous “feels like” temperatures are expected, ranging from 20 to 40 degrees below zero, with the coldest conditions anticipated from Friday evening through Saturday afternoon. The State Police suggest avoid travelling if possible.
