Clinton County once again reports one of the lowest price per gallon of regular gas in New York State.

The price of gas in Clinton Country remains among the lowest in the state at $2.99 a gallon. That’s close to the national average which is $2.94 for a gallon of regular gasoline. This is the first time in 4 years that gas has dipped below the $3 a gallon mark according to the Triple-A. Gas prices in Essex and Franklin Counties are much higher. The average price for a gallon of regular gas in Essex County is $3.35 and Franklin County shows $3.24 according to the Automobile Association.
