The price of gas locally and statewide is the lowest its been in several years according to an AAA survey.
The American Automobile Association reports that Gas prices are the lowest they’ve been for this time of year since 2021. However, pump prices are expected to start their seasonal climb soon, as spring approaches and higher cost summer-blend gasoline production begins. Today's AAA survey shows the average price of a gallon of regular gas in New York is $2.99 and has been holding steady since last week. Clinton County remains below the state average at $2.95 a gallon according to the AAA survey.
