The Queensbury amusement park, Great Escape, is being sold to a Kansas City, Mo. investment company.

The Great Escape in Queensbury is one of seven properties that will be sold according to Six Flags Entertainment Corporation. Six Flags has entered into an agreement to sell Great Escape and six other parks to real estate investment company EPR Properties of Kansas City, Missouri. Six Flags reports that all seven parks will continue normal operations throughout the 2026 season. All season passes will be honored this year including multi‑park access.
