Experts come together with the public to discuss solutions to the invasive species problem in NY State.
The invasive species expo is going on now through Tuesday. According to the Department of Environmental Conservation, New York is particularly vulnerable to invasive species due to its rich biodiversity and the state's role as a center for international trade and travel. The three-day Expo is an opportunity to bring natural resource professionals and practitioners together with the public to discuss invasive species and the impact they have on New York’s environment and communities. The biennial event is taking place at the Saratoga Spa State Park.
