A multi-unit building on Margaret Street in Plattsburgh caught fire Friday night.
The Northeastern New York Chapter of the American Red Cross provided Immediate emergency aid to one person following a multi-family structure fire late Friday night on the 200 block of Margaret Street in Plattsburgh. The Red Cross provided financial assistance to the individual that can be used for food, shelter and clothing. Reports say the call came into fire control at about 10 Friday night and crews cleared the scene early Saturday morning. The cause of the fire is under investigation.
