The new Clinton County Administrator comes from within the county workforce.
The next Clinton County Administrator will be Christine Peters. Peters currently serves as Commissioner of the Clinton County Department of Social Services, where she has led the agency since 2023. She will begin serving as Temporary County Administrator on August 4th working alongside current County Administrator Michael Zurlo until his retirement in October. Chairman of the Legislature, Mark Henry, said “Her deep institutional knowledge, legal expertise, and proven leadership make her an ideal choice.” Following the transitional period, she will assume the role permanently for a five-year term.
