The Town of Plattsburgh has a new Supervisor after Michael Cashman leaves for the NYS Assembly.
The Town of Plattsburgh Board unanimously voted to officially appoint Chuck Kostyk as the new Supervisor of the Town of Plattsburgh. Kostyk resigned from his position as a Board member on Monday to assume the role of Supervisor after former Town Supervisor Michael Cashman was sworn in as the area’s State Assemblymember. Kostyk, a Cadyville resident, will serve as town Supervisor until the next general election. In conjunction with Kostyk’s appointment, Dana Isabella, a current Town Board member, has been selected to serve as the new Deputy Supervisor.
