The New York State Police issued 11,582 tickets during this year's St. Patrick's Day enforcement initiative, which ran from March 14 to March 17, 2025. The campaign, funded by the Governor’s Traffic Safety Committee, included sobriety checkpoints, DWI patrols, and efforts to curb underage drinking and sales to minors. State Police also ticketed distracted drivers using handheld devices. Within Troop B, a total of 712 citations were issued, including 156 for speeding, 6 for distracted driving, and 13 DWI Arrests.
