Nurses Contract

Elizabethtown Community Hospital Nurses have agreed to a new contract after bargaining for months.

Nurses at Elizabethtown Community Hospital voted overwhelmingly to ratify a new contract after bargaining for months according to the NY State Nurses Association.  Highlights of the contract include wage increases of $3 an hour, plus yearly wage increases of 3% to encourage nurse retention and maintain safe staffing levels. The NY State Nurses Association President, Nancy Hagans, said “this contract shows that when NYSNA nurses fight, they win!”
