The New York Farm Bureau helped shape American Farm Bureau policy positions at annual meeting.
Policy positions submitted by New York Farm Bureau were adopted at the American Farm Bureau Federation Annual Meeting in Anaheim, CA. The positions include a plan to permit vaccination of poultry against Highly Pathogenic Avian Influenza, Support of congressional oversight of food labeling by the FDA and opposition to mushrooms being seeded in another country then fruited in the U.S. and labeled as “American grown”.
