New York State retirees will be happy to know a recent audit showed the retirement fund is in good shape.
A recent independent review of the NYS Common Retirement Fund found it is in full compliance with fiduciary and statutory requirements and operates with the highest ethical standards according to a report released by the Comptroller’s office. The review was conducted by Weaver and Tidwell LLP. The state retirement plan covers more than 1.2 million participants.
