A poor rating has cost New York State Electric & Gas millions of dollars.
NYSEG failed to meet a Customer Satisfaction Survey metric for 2024, resulting in a negative revenue adjustment of approximately $5.6 million according to the State Public Service Commission. Additionally, since NYSEG failed its Customer Satisfaction Survey metric in 2023 as well, the revenue adjustment doubles to approximately $11.2 million the P-S-C reported.
