President William Henry Harrison died and made history

On this date in 1841 President William Henry Harrison died of pneumonia just 31 days into his term.  That remains the shortest tenure of any U.S. President.  Harrison took the oath of office on a cold and rainy March day.  He rode on horseback to the ceremony rather than in a closed carriage and then delivered the longest inaugural address in American history.  It's thought that exposure to the cold rain for more than two hours may have contributed to his untimely death, however, reports differ on what caused his demise.
