The Plattsburgh Community Garden invites new members, returning gardeners, and those interested in renting a garden plot to attend the annual meeting on Saturday, April 12, at noon in the upstairs meeting room of the Plattsburgh Public Library. The community garden operates two locations: a 60-plot garden in Melissa L. Penfield Park and a 14-plot garden at the Plattsburgh Housing Authority. Plots are available for $35 at Penfield and $25 at PHA, with fees covering water, compost, and tools. Both experienced and beginner gardeners, as well as families and organizations, are welcome to join. Plots for new gardeners will be assigned at the meeting, with registration available online or in person.
